The Press Conference of Miss Universe Thailand 2023 was held on 6 May 2023 at CentralWorld Bangkok, Thailand. National Director Miss Pui Piyaporn Sankosik presented the new format with many new and exciting news regarding this year's edition. The concept for this year’s edition Miss Universe Thailand 2023 beauty pageant is called “The Unlimited: Universe Without Limits”. The national organization has set five fundamental key qualities in their new winner which are Leadership, Inspiration, Motivation, Innovation, and Teamwork. This year all the delegates will be representing their respective provinces similar to Miss Grand Thailand. The City Directors who have pursued the license fee will be responsible to select their provincial delegates on the national stage. Each province will have to follow the standard rule composed by the TPN Global Miss Universe Thailand organization. One of the formats is all the provincial winners will be crowned with the same design crown sponsored by GOD Diamonds jewelry company. This new style crown was presented by the reigning Miss Universe Thailand 2022 Anna Sueangam-iam.
The Miss Universe Thailand organization will join forces
with 247 Entertainment through a special project “MUT MAX” competition in the
creative form of music, performance, and fashion show. The winner of this special
award will be rewarded a direct spot to the Top 10 finalists in the grand
coronation event of the Miss Universe Thailand 2023. The official competition
will begin from July to August where the delegates will participate in
different challenges, introducing the famous Keyword Challenge during the
Audition round. Some local activities will take place in Khon Kaen Province
located in the heart of North East, Thailand. The important dates will include
the Preliminary Competition is scheduled on 18 August and the final competition
will take place on 20 August at the True Icon Hall, Bangkok, Thailand. The new
winner will be crowned with a brand new Mouawad “Light of Glory” crown in the tradition
of the national pageant. Miss Universe Thailand 2022 Anna Sueangam-iam will
crown her successor by the end of the event. The new winner will represent the
Kingdom of Thailand in the 72nd edition of Miss Universe 2023 later this year
in El Salvador. Thailand has been eagerly waiting for 35 years since their last
victory with Miss Universe 1988 Porntip Nakhirunkanok (Bui Simon) who was
crowned in Taipei, Taiwan. There are many fan favorites who have confirmed
their participation at the upcoming national pageant including pageant veterans
like Veena Praveenar Singh Thakral Miss Universe Thailand 2020 1st Runner Up, Anntonia
Porsild Miss Supranational 2019, Supaporn Ritthipreuk Miss Universe Thailand 2017
1st Runner Up, Chatnalin Chotjirawarachat Miss Grand Thailand 2017 1st Runner
Up and many others.
