Leyte, Philippines - Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Best National Costume competition was held on held at the Leyte Normal University on May 4, 2023. According to the organization, in this edition's national costume competition, the theme is Ani (Harvest), which pays homage to the rich history and traditions of Filipino farming communities. As announced, this event would be hosted by Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados and actor Marco Gumabao. The theme this year was to celebrate Filipino culture and pay tribute to Philippine Agriculture in the National Costume Competition! Be amazed by the stunning national costumes inspired by the rich history and traditions of Filipino farming communities. Together, let's acknowledge and uplift Agriculture as the backbone of the Philippine economy.
