JUST IN! Filipino socialite Mr. Josh Yugen is the new owner of the Miss Universe Egypt organization. Diana Hamed was the last Egyptian delegate who had last competed at Miss Universe 2019 in the United States. This will be the third country after Baharian, Pakistan and now Egypt will be under the same owner. Josh Yugen is a Filipino socialite, CEO, Editor-in-Chief, businessman, philanthropist, and TV Star. He is the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Xpedition Magazine Middle East, a high-end luxury fashion magazine based in Dubai. Yugens magazine has featured some of Asia's biggest stars including Bollywood superstar Urvashi Rateula, supermodel Natalia Barulich, and Miss Universe Catriona Gray. He is also the founder and co-owner of Yugen PR, Dubai's biggest PR agency, the founder of the Xpedition Annual Gala Awards as well as the co-owner of luxurious hair and beauty salon in Dubai. Born as Josh Jr. Mangila on 1 January 1985, in Cavite, Philippines the businessman later changed his name to Josh Yugen and moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2007 to start his career as a journalist.
After starting his career as a travel journalist, Yugen quickly rose to prominence in the media and drew the attention of prestigious international bodies, being named the Influential Journalist of the Year in Malta as well as being named Media Personality of the Year by The Filipino Times in 2016. Yugen has appeared on numerous TV shows in The Philippines and Dubai including GMA 7- Gandang Ricky Arenas, ABS-CBN: Rated K, Lifestyle Channel-l, Metro Channel- Pia's Postcards, Fashion TV, CNN, Dubai TV, and many more. In 2015 Yugen launched Xpedition Magazine Middle East, a luxury fashion and travel magazine has featured some of Asia's biggest stars on the cover. The following year he launched his namesake public relations, marketing, and events company- Yugen PR.

Requirements to join are the following:
• You must be an Egyptian national or holder of an Egyptian passport
• 18 to 28 years old
• No marital status requirements - open to all single, married, divorced, or pregnant
• No minimum height requirement
• Has an advocacy and strong message to share with the world
